Subject: I got my 4.7L QC Dak! IP: Logged
Message: Hey guys,
Just thought I'd let you know that I got my truck. I ended up getting the second one I looked at. An 02 4.7L...super clean and loaded. I looked at new ones and got them down to $200 over invoice, but they still came in at $21,000 for moderately equipped models...I got my 02 for $15,200...not bad....everything but leather...it even has the original $27,400 sticker with it!
Here's a link if you're curious...

Yeah, it's a long one.
Oh, the truck's at the dodge dealer now getting warranty service. It had 35,987 miles when I took delivery so I drove it straight to the dealer. I made up a story about hearing clunking from the front and said "ball joints or something", and had them do a 27 pt. inspection. Sure enough it's got one bad upper BJ! Being fixed under warranty...they didn't want to change both of them unfortunately.
Anyway, I plan to do body colored bumpers and grille, and I'd like to drop it slightly and put 17" R/T rims on it. It's already got a Flowmaster and sounds awesome. Just need to add some dual exhaust tips..
Thanks for your help on my post last week...I can't wait to start driving this thing! I'm sure I'll be talking to you guys in the future. Now I just gotta decide whether to sell my beloved 97 4.3L S10...this Dak is too nice to mess up by hauling stuff ;-)

Message: That's what they cost...I looked at a bunch, and I was shocked, too. I got this one below KBB private seller, right at NADA trade-in value. Noone else could touch this deal. If you own a Dak, you should be happy that depreciation is relatively slow. I pay cash for my vehicles and saving $6000 for a mint 2 year old one over a new one leaves a few more bucks in my bank acct.
How much do YOU think it's worth???
