Do you mean P0246? If so: P0246 - Turbo/Super Charger Wastegate Solenoid A High.

No it's P246 and it's for a 2002 Dodge Dakota SLT wirh a 4.7 V8 not a jeep

DTC's in OBDII are standardized except for those reserved for proprietery information. It doesn't matter if it's a Jeep or a Chev or A Nissan, P0246 is the same for all makes. CHeck out this.
You code, P246 doesn'r exist. Maybe your PCM is have a stroke.

i got some codes for my dakota from a pt cruiser site and it got me out of a bind. but the code you're showing doesn't show on the chart. you can go to ptcruizer.com/computer-codes.html. if this doesn't help then stop in to your local dodge dealer or call they should be decent enough to give you an answer. and of course you could try to disconnest your battery and see if it comes up again, may have been a fluke.
