How exactly is the chip installed... do they send you the chip and you snap it on top of your PCM (kind of like those old overdrive chips for 486 computers), or do you have to send the whole board into them and have them put it in?

You send your PCM (computer) to them. They take it apart and install the chip into the circuit board. It is then resealed and sent back to you. They state a 48 hour turnaround.
