was wondering about intakes and what the black box above the engine is called 4.7L ( not the resonator) but the air box above. and if i could leave this in place and remove the resonator box only and attatch the cold air in take to this instead of the throtle body . would this configuration defeat the cold air intake and if so to what degree thanks

Just rip the air hat out...it was easy and makes the engine bay look less cluttered. 360airintakez costs 180.00 delivered.
