Subject: Stumped... IP: Logged
Message: I thought I cured my stalling problem on my 97 CC 5.2 4x4 auto when I replaced the rubber vaccum fitting on the TB...but it started up again the next day...and now I'm really stumped because it stalls whenever I start it and then quits when the engine reaches normal operating temps...but the other strange thing is...it NEVER stalls when I use my remote start...any ideas? I can't think of anything

Message: When you use the remote starter, you're bypassing the normal start/run circuitry. So I would quit looking for engine problems, and start looking for electrical problems in the ignition switch and associated wiring.
