i have a 91 318 i get 15 on quartermile on a bad day 14 or so on a good day i'm trying to figure out what kinda cars and trucks could i put to shame and i don't mean them stupid s-10's............also do you guys have any good way to take off other than just flooring it?

Id say s10 with the exception of Syclones, Ford rangers. most toyota pickups and all other import trucks
I havent raced in a long while but What I used to do was load the chassi by pressing on the brake and then the gas till mabey 16-1800 RPM right before the rear tires started to slip then release the brake and floor it.
Youll have to figure out your best launch RPM

I have a '94 318 Dak. To get a great launch, Hold you left foot on the brake. about 1/4 second after punching the gas pedal, release the brake. The only problem you will have is Smokin' Tires.

I had one of those stupid S-10's years ago that would run 14's all day long.
To launch I would try and make the other guy stage first while heating up the tires. Load up the convertor and when the last amber light came on I would hit the gas. It takes a little while for the truck to react and actually break the light, by that time the green light is on. Try it a time or two, you will be amazed by your reaction times. In the beginning you might red light a couple of times until you get the hang of it, but it's great to hole shot someone with the same dial-in.
Wished I was out there racing, enjoy it while you can.
