Message: No you can do better than that!
Buy your parts through a reputable speed shop and ask them who they recommend to install them. Thats what I did.
Like I said, I would not stop short of 4.10s. You will be real pleased with 4.10 gears and some type of LSD, even if its OEM, the speed shop can get it for you. I also went with Redline diff fluid and friction modifier.
BTW my speedlimiter is 98mph, but I wired a switch in line with the fuse going to the ABS so I kill the speedo when I want to exceed the speedlimiter.
Hope this helps ya,
Later...

Message: So that WILL work. I need to get rid of my limiter or else I'm going to be hitting it shortly in the 1/4. SO you just run a switch inline from the abs sensor in the back or the Speed sensor??? Will this throw any codes??? Thanks.....

Message: When I flip this switch the speedo goes to zero, the ABS light comes on and so does the brake light. It will throw a code if you drive around with it like that. If it does all I do is flip the switch back to the normal setting and reset the PCM if it does trip the MIL.
When I do my dyno runs if I want to rev up to 5000rpms or so with the OD off, I will flip the switch so the speedlimiter does not kick in. Then when I let off the gas I just flip the switch back the other way and the lights go off and the speedo goes back to working.
I spliced the switch in under the hood at the ABS module. I probably need to take a picture of it and send it to you.
Hope I explained that good enough for people to understand?
Later...

Message: If you ever get a chance to take that picture send it to me at tharizzlah@hotmail.com. Much appreciated.
I have the guy from Mister Transmission looking into those gears for me. Keeping my fingers crossed they're not too much. I hope Transgo gets the kit out for the 45fre sometime soon as well. Their website says "within 30 days". I should've just bought the damn stick!!!
