Message: I have a 99 r/t I am having the same problem over and over again I keep getting a leak in the intake gasket causing it to consume ton's of oil I was wondering if there was a after market gasket set by fel-pro for this application. I started having the problem after I reprogramed the cpu and added kennne belle super charger and the gibson exhaust I was wondering if any of the other gear heads out there might have any ideas because i'm still scratching my head in amazement that I keep blowing this gasket. There has to be a resolve to this condition. thanks

Message: Its probably got more to do with the supercharger than anything else. While that gasket is known for blowing out, usually people do it once and then its good for another 50k. How much boost are you pushing?

Message: 10 psi of boost this will be the 3rd time changing the gasket. I know that fel-pro makes a gasket to stop the leaks on the valve covers on the old chysler BB I was hoping that being this is a common problem they'd have a cure for it.

Message: Mopar redesigned their belly-pan gaskets a few years back with a steel lining in the middle. These are stronger than the plain paper ones. Is that what you've been using?
I believe Hughes engines makes some brackets to reinforce the thin pans, otherwise You'll have to drop some real cash on an M1 intake manifold because they're cast of one piece.
There is one other alternative but I know you don't even want to hear it.... less boost from your blower.
Good Luck

Message: you can solve it for ever if you get an aluminum plate welded to the bottom.
