But you better be nice and let her win, or she'll go back to the other bulletin board and whine about how mean we are to her over here like she did last time, and ask those members to come over here and help her out again, like she did last week.

Can you imagine "getting out" and saying whats up before you finish staging? Someone did that to me... I think I would mace them.

And why don't you two be constructive and go to an acual quarter mile strip instead of indangering inosent people on the side streets. I never seen a point in running down a residental street just to prove you got bigger Ballz( or jugs) than the next. Theres a place for that. If I find any of you rolling down my street like a bat out of hell....... I'm gonna shoot your FUC#N tires out. Promise!!!! I will cheerfully whatch you splash into a street light before the kid next door thats just playin ball in the street.
Think again if I call 911 afterwards

hey "pappie1", no need to freak out. i believe that perkins guy DID challenge her on a racetrack. after a little search engine action, i believe that npr stands for "no problems raceway".

i've never heard so many excuses before though LOL. i could just imagine the excuses that come up after they run (but it doesn't look like she'll ever go through with it!)

BTW, those of you who dogged the 4.7 as being in some way inferior to the 318 just havn't spent the time finding the right mods yet. Between the stock roller valve train and KRC's 206 cam set, My 4.7 rocks!

shut up and race already, and her dakota is no where near god's gift to mopar, as there are many street cars from mopar that are quieter than her truck, and much much faster. while i like loud exhuast and fast vehicles, no matter what a mopar car will always be faster than a mopar truck, the dakotas arent going to ever match up against the 68 Hemi A-bodies (barracuda and dart) or even against most of the other 383 ci and up cars of the past, not to mention a little neon by the name of SRT-4

I was reading the messages, and I just had to
respond to the one by Spencer.. Well I have a
1988 Dodge Dakota, with a 360 5.9 Stock Engine
in it.. The Tranny is a Stock 5 speed Standard,
and for a Joke, this past summer, I kicked the
ass out of a friend of mine in a 1/4 mile race
on a track.. He drives a 68 Challenger with
all kinds of mods in it.. By the time he got
off the start line, he had lost almost 2 seconds
from the wheels burning rubber.. So Its not all
speed, but also grip with the tires, as well as
how you shift... I also raced against a 68 Hemi,
and it was extremely close.. The Hemi only won by
1.3 seconds... So I would say in conclusion that
the Mopar Trucks will definately be competitive
with the Mopar cars..

Andy..

and by the way, i know about drag racing, my dad has raced since before i was born, and i have been at the track since i was 2 weeks old, you have no reason to tell me how to drag race, or what it takes to go fast, and personally, i am surprised you didnt blow your transmission up, and just curious, what car was that 68 Hemi in, and just to let you know, 1.3 seconds is not close, thats a blow out
