Message: You don't want the dealer to "flash" your new PCM.
What you want them to do is download your VIN # and mileage so that you ABS and brake idiot lights don't come on.
Shop around as different dealers charge different rates. Anywhere from .5 to 1 hour shop rate for a 10 min job.

Message: I drove mine to the dealership with the pcm installed...the brake light on your dash will be on, but all system should be working fine.
Be sure the tech fully understands that you want the vin and mileage put in the computer and not a "flash"...I made that mistake luckily the tech recognized that I had the most up to date "program" and didn't do anything
I was lucky with the price also, my dealership did the milage and vin program for free, but I bought the PCM from them.
Good Luck
