I hope they're planning a longer wheel base version. By the time you add two more doors for a Quad Cab it might end up looking like one of those silly Sport Trac's, or whatever it is that Ford makes.

I'm sure they will. Remember that's just the RC in the pic... the CC and QC will be longer, as they are on the current Daks (RC = 112", CC/QC = 131").

I was hoping for an early release of the '05 Dakota, but the newspaper today said it won't be coming out until September, 2004. Anyone have any different information?

it looks like a caravango with the rear 2 seats removed. Why do all the redesigned dodges look like they decided to puff up the cabs and bodies as much as they could? and there is a limit to how much grill and headlights i like to see in a vehicle.
The trucks don't look like trucks anymore. looks like a minivan on roids.

First it was suppose to be released winter 04, then they pushed it back to early summer 04, now it's September? Figures.
I think the truck looks great except for the front side fenders. I think it looks goofy the way the fender rounds out around the wheels. Thats what I dont like about the new durangos. Those huge fender flares ruin the lines of the truck and makes it look sissy.
