curious if you guys check the color of your plugs after modifications? i just pulled my stock 5224 out after replacing the back with a flowmaster, k&n intake and 180 stat = the plugs were pure white!!
from my experience with 2 stroke motors this is a no-no !! (too lean)
i think i'll try the 3923's! (colder plug)
any comments?

have not overheated, but only have appx. 125 miles since changing the stat! i stopped and p/u some autolites 3923, and will install this week!
i also picked up some 7mm plugs wires (borg warner)best they sell! is there much difference between 7mm and the 8mm everyone uses?
