Message: Drain your tank of regular fuel first.... so go drive around like a maniac and suck up all that gas. Go top your tank off with premium then drive straight to your garage. Plug the chip in, drive it about 5 miles then park it. Turn it off. Wait a few minutes. Turn it back on and it should be all straightened out.
BTW I am trying to find my manual for the chip... I'll get your plug answer for you by tomorrow.

Message: i did the same thing but just started trying connectors until it worked. on the passenger side look for the pcm which has three connectors on it. then take off the closest on eto hte firewall, plug the chip in the connectors place then plug the orginal harness into the jet chip walla your done but remember to reset the pcm. just unhook the negative battery cable and turn the ignition on for 30 seconds then its done also this is a pretty straight forward install hope this helps

Message: yea the pcm has to "learn" the new settings i've heard it takes about 300-400 miles so next week just drive everywhere, take the inlaws for a ride on thanksgiving and just try to get the miles on it to reset it

Message: I noticed mine the day after I put it in. Primarily in the shift points and in the midrange power area. And yes you definately need to unplug your battery cable prior to installing the chip. The guys at Jet recommend it.

Message: well, maybe it's cause of the other stuff i have done. maybe the chip won't give me any better performance than i already added. does anyone else have the module with the other 4.7L mods? i have flowmaster, tps@.80, cold air intake, removed clutch fan, relocated iat, disabled torque limiter, autolite 3923's, and soon 180 stat.
