Subject: Tranny code 1757 need some advise IP: Logged
Message: Hey guys I need some help. I have the Transgo shift kit in my 99 R/T and just yesterday I installed the Mopar 2400 stall converter to go with it, they both work great together I highly recommend them.
Anyway today the check engine light went on and I diagnosed it to be code 1757 or (governor pressure not within 15-20 psi at idle). The truck seems to be working and running properly but I hate having that light blaring in my face. Has anyone else ever had this code and how did you solve the problem? These 46RE’s are starting to piss me off.

Message: i cant really give any help with it but i just a comment on the situation.
Both times i took the valve body out of my tranny (same shift kit), i would get the same code for a week or two... off and on. Then it would just go away. It kinda made be scratch my head... i thought that it had something to do with my tranny being excited it got new fluid???

Message: Thanks man,
Ya I know its weird. The truck runs fine so I guess I'll just drive around and see what happens.
One more thing, you have the Transgo I have another post on the general board about a problem down shifting from 2nd to 1st. At low speeds about 20mph the tranny wants to lock-up if I manually downshift. Any ideas? I can usually figure these problems out but this one got me.
