Just a quick question if any one could tell me how many quarts of oil my truck takes with a new filter. It's a 1998 Dakota 5.2 V-8.

Probably five, your owner manual will say for sure.
ALl the older mopar 318 took five quarts.
If in doubt, refer to a service manual or Haynes manual.
Or call your dealer
