Subject: KRC 220 cam IP: Logged
Message: Anyone have this cam and do you like it? I have heads, M1 intake, headers, and all the other usual goodies and a small comp cam in now. How does the 220 idle and what kind of 1/4 mile times might I be looking at with this set up? BTW- its a reg cab 5 speed with 3.92 LSD. Thanks! (Mike Leach custom flash also)

Message: I used to think it was a fairly big cam for a 318 until a buddy ran it in his '99 318 Club Cab, auto, 4.10's. Had some definite thump, thump at idle but it ran good. I don't remember his times but he was pretty pleased. He's over on dodgetrucks.org, Dakzila.

Message: I have the 220 in a 360 w/ the m1, 2.02 valves, etc and I love it. It has a very lumpy idle and is very strong in the upper rpms. I dont have much in the lower rpms, plus I have a 5 speed w/ a 3.55 lsd. I'm sure you would like it, I would personally be concerned with the loss of torque in the 318. Definitely a strong cam though.
