Subject: TransGo Shift Kit Problems Please Help!!

Message:
Hey guys, I installed the Transgo shift kit on my 99 R/T yesterday and now my truck is definitely in major limp mode. It would only let the truck run at a max of 25 mph and it felt like she was just trying to dump off as much power from the engine as she could. It’s throwing two codes, one being high tranny pressure and the other is just listed as “solenoid A”. I followed the instructions word for word; I rotated the PR adjust screw five counter clockwise rotations from flush and installed the resistor into the red wire specified in the instructions. Has anyone else had this dilemma? Any ideas would be great.
Guys I really need your help on this one, right now the truck is not drivable!!
Thanks

I don't know if this will help, but try disconnecting the battery for 10-15 minutes and then reconnect it. If you make a change to the electronics and/or sensors and the PCM is used to the old setup, it might thing there is a problem and put itself into limp mode.

I have made a couple of mods to my truck and have disconnected the battery every time to make sure the PCM does not remember the old setup. The truck will take a while to learn everything again, but should be back to normal within 200 miles, well that's if evetything is functioning correctly. If the trans doesn't operate correctly right after the battery thing, don't drive it anymore and call Trans-go. I have found the tech lines for performance companies quite useful.
