I haven't heard of any. I checked Mopar's price on the stock covers, considering chrome myself. $200 plus each; I'll pass. May paint originals when I put in HO cams, though.

The 4.7L are magnesium-- you can't chrome those.

You can powder coat them though-- I have done a few sets.

Maybe someone will make some polished aluminum
ones soon. There would be a good market for them.
I,m installing a supercharger that is polished
aluminum and it would be nice to have valve covers on each side of it to match. If anyone
finds any please let me know where to get them.

IMHO, I wouldn't want to paint, chrome, etc. my 4.7 valve covers.

I really think the Mag. look is awesome, high tech, and lightweight, like carbon fiber kinda looks.

To each his own.

Hey can they be polished? I would try that if it can be done and then throw some high heat clear coat on it

Why guild a lily ? Magnesium valve covers are a weight savings, high tech enough for me. Put your time/money into power.

Yeah, they can be powder coated. I've done a couple of sets already-- and they looked great! Tops off a install of HO cams & intake for a great custom look.

For those of you worried about weight, powder coating added a mere 6 oz to the weight.. of both covers.

The new web page looks great Sam. When are you gonna be finished? Would you do a core swapping type of thing for the valve covers?

The page is slowly coming together--- as always, if there's something anyone is looking for, just call or email and I can get the prices to you ASAP.

I am in the process of getting a set of 4.7 covers as we speak, and will do those on a core swap basis for people. I've had problems with people getting me back their old cores (5.2/5.9 crowd)-- and need to find a solution for that, and not have to charge a core deposit.

I'll have some info up soon.

Thanks!

Serious customers shouldn't object to a core deposit; the transaction stays on both parties minds until totally completed. I recall buying a MP computer for my '92 a few years ago. DC wanted the original factory version back, and offered a $100 rebate if you returned it. I opted for the C-note.
