Im thinking of getting Gibson 3" cat back single pipe side exit system for my 03 4.7 cc. Anyone have any past experience with this system? Sound, Power gain, Ease of install?

Gibson mufflers are some of the quietest around but most people are generally very satisfied with them. Expect modest gains until you begin doing other mods. If you want a cat back that will give a large amount of power check out gsmotorsports.com. They claim 14rwhp out of their true dual setup. That cat-back might get you 6-8 or so.

I installed the single swept on my 01 4.7 QC. I wouldn't want anything louder. My wife claims she can hear from the next street over. I like the way it sounds. I have other mods though and maybe that why it rumbles.

Sam, Thanks for trying to sell me the cat back system, but you cant even navagate around this website. Half of the links to parts listed do not work and there isnt even any exhaust systems listed. I'll go with 4wheelparts.com. might want to look into that issue.

Thanks for the info I was'nt tryin to be a D!ck. Im not ready to buy yet so maybe he will have them on his site in a couple of weeks. I will definitly check it out again then, thanks for the recomendation.
