I have a '02 4.7L Dakota 19,000 miles, I have been noticing for the last 6 months there is alot of noice coming from the undercarrige during driving. There is a rattling upfront when going over small bumps in the road (good example: brick road). Does anyone know what could be causing this? Sometimes it sounds like the front wheel could fall of although all lug nuts are tight. From reading the posted messages, I beleive one of my ball joints could be bad do to the popping noice when slow turning. Truck is going back to the dealer next week, trying to get a heads up on the dealer so I don't get fead a load crap.
