Message: I have had this problem occur a few times now...I start up my 97' CC 5.2 4x4 and it starts and then it just dies...and you give it gas and it runs just fine but as soon as you let off the gas the rpm's drop too low for idle so it stalls...I am convinced that it is the fuel system...I have heard rumors that the dak's don't have one?!?! is that possible? if not what is a good filter you guys might suggest and where should I put it? and if they DO have one where is it?

Message: Dont know if this helps or not but..... My parents have had a couple of Dodge Caravans with the 3.3 V6. They had the same problem that you are discribing. You start it up, but then the rpm's fall and the thing dies. Well to make a long story short, they were told by 2 different service centers to have the injectors cleaned. Well at almost $300 a pop they passed. What did work thought was a gas additive. Go to your nearest chevron station, buy some of there techron gas additive. Run about 2 of those bottles through your system (one per full tank). That should help correct your problem.
Or you could try a high rpm carbon blow, and blow up your motor instead.
My 2 cents

Message: My 96 Dak has a filter inside the tank on the bottom of the assembly that holds the pump, I know this cause currently I have it pulled apart and I'm installing a new high output holley pump and regulator..
