Message: I haven't dug into my Dodge ignition system yet but I suspect it's similar to the old Chevy's I used to fart with. The basic system is you have a voltage input (from your battery or alternator) and a voltage output (higher power created by the coil to your distributor.) AGAIN, I don't even know how yours is situated, but you absolutely need these two things. There is a fair chance your input power isn't making it to the coil. Follow the power lead back to the afore mentioned sources and look for anything visually damaged. If you have a meter you can check the continuity of the wiring, and you can check for correct input voltage. Sorry for the vagueness, but again I haven't had to mess with mine (yet.)

Message: unplug the plug wire from the coil, and cross a screwdriver to the valve cover, keep close to the cover and you won't get shocked but it will tell you if you have spark output
