Message: I'm considering switching from MBRP to Spintech for when I go to true duals. I love the sound of my MBRP though, it's a really good sound. I am running an MBRP muffler on my piped RX-7 with road race headers -- not that it helps that much with the sound.

Message: I too am switching out my MBRP for the Spin tech only because i am going true duals. SpinTech is a really nice sounding muffler. I just got my new Dealer cataloge from spintech and they had a cat back system now also dual side exit, single exit infront of the tire and straight out the back

Message: there are a few options from spintech
1. Utilizing the factor tail pipe. Most economical system Simply cut off the head pipe behind the cat and clamp in the new headpipe and muffler. Cost 189.95 plus shipping
2. Dual Tail Exit 2 pipes behind right rear tire. 339.95 plus shipping
3 Dual rear exit straight out the back 359.95 plus shipping
4 Single side exit in fron tof rear tire 309.95 plus shipping

Message: I have a 93 5.2 dakota that is poping and banging like the spark plug wires are crossed but they are not. The cam is only about a 278 it is a turbo cam.
It runs bad enough that I can't shift it into drive with out it dieing and it won't run, in less it is reved above about 1800 rpm. It surges at any rpm and backfires above 3000rpm
As for as I know the computer just has a factory timming setting and I don't know how to get around that, if that is the problem.
I put new springs in it with about .570 lift and i have a new timing chain and gears and it is set on the middle mark. But it probably doesnt have anything to do with that. Any body know what is going on???
Do I just need a new computer with different timing settings?
When i turn the distributer it doesn't change the spark timming because the computer adjusts it up to a certain point then dies. Turning the distributor does change the feul timming as far as i can tell.
