hears the deal. i'm in the military stationed in belgium. i have a 2000 dakota 4.7L 4*4 with a man. trans. as you can guess it's not really easy for me to just take my truck down the road to a tech. so you all are really my only hope untill i get back to the states. i have a fault code p0320 coming up. i'm trying to find out if its relevent to the problems i'm having with it. for most of my time here its been in storage, but when i pull it out to scare the belgiums..LOL.. it will cut power at 2500 RMPs in any gear once its warmed up. it just doesn't sound right to me! any takers...please

that's what i was thinking but this damn fault code has me wondering what's up! after all the truck is hardly broke in yet!

here is what the code means

320 Crankshaft position sensor reference signal cannot be found while the engine is cranking.

mabye a crank position sensor going bad?

where is the location of the crankshaft position sensor. i think its in the back on the lower end near the flywheel but i haven't checked yet. i looked on the front end near the damper. no luck! has anyone changed this out before?
