Subject: Headers and cold air intake for my 5.2 IP: Logged
Message: I was interested in what brand of headers would be best and if they would be worth the money, same thing with the cold air intake. I have a 98 ex cab 4x4 with a 318. I plan to go with a high flow cat or no cat at all. Is there anything positive about removing the cat?
Thanx,
Matt

Message: Find some '92-'93 5.2 exhaust manifolds, and a Catco or similar high-flow cat. I assume you have cat-back duals already? K&N drop-in as a low cost first step.

Message: Yes, I do have cat-back duals and a K&N drop in. How about removing my cat alltogether? Summit has an O2 sensor simulator to replace the O2 after the cat. Is this a good idea or not?
Thanx
Matt

Message: I sell the PPH headers (mopar) for your truck, $425+$25 shipping... include the Y pipe and all the hardware/instructions to install. Are smog legal too (though you probably don't care since you are planning on removing the cat).
For the CAI, I sell 360intakes-- Volant, etc.
