I've got an '01 dakota 4.7L w/ a K&N FIPK and duals running from the cat straight back. would a Poweraid Throttle Body Spacer actually help improve my torque and hp or is it a waste of money?

Message: Stack two of the throttle body spacers, you wont belive the gains. BTW you may need to modify the hood.

Message: The use of spacers came about as a way to increase plenum volume for engines with carbs. The increased volume, plus longer shot beneath the carb helped the air/fuel mixture flow better, with less fuel dropout. With an air-only throttle body, how's this gonna help? The fuel management is computerized and being sprayed at the intake based on sensor input. Air flows more easily when not laden with fuel, and any flow improvement you might see at the throttle body will be eliminated by the twists and turns in that barrel intake. If you want improved flow, save the money and put it towards an M1.

Message: The 4.7L does not have an M1. We have the useless HO.
Best bang for the buck I ever did was gearing.
I have heard the Helix throttle body spacers make a strange hissing at high RPM that can be cool *shrug*

Message: i just threw a spacer on my 5.9 and its bad a$$. i tried to take it up of the line like i used to and i smoked em big time. i noticed a huge difference, if i touch my gas peddel it jumps to 3 grand, i suggest a spacer along with jba headers and a good 3 in flowmaster exg.

Message: No M1 for the 4.7??? Ouch. That sucks. I know I hadn't seen one, just figured Mopar would carry on the line. What's goin' on with that bunch?
