 Subject: 02 R/T lacks topend

Hey i got a 02 reg cab R/T and would like some more topend on my truck. It seems to drop off from 4000-5000rpm. Anyone have any suggestions on what i should put on it to pull to the red line?Best bang for the buck? As of now i have a k&n drop in, flowmaster in plack of stock muffler. I ran a 15.1@89mph. I dont wanna spend no more than a G. Thanks

NX kit around 550$. Best bang for your buck. It'll give you top end and some bottom. It's a cheap touch and it is a good source only when you "need" it.

Best bet for top end is the bg flash and a m1 manifold. That'll get ya flying(~$850). But it works best with headers and a tb as well.

M1 two barrel, should run you $450 max with all gaskets and install kit. You can get it for less. That leaves $550 to play with. I normally like F&B throttle bodies but if you're on a tight budget, check out a Fastman 52mm. That's another $250 unless you can get a deal. That leaves you $300 left to play with to buy a set of headers.
Once you've done all that, save up a few more bucks and get a custom flash, then it will be worth it.

thanks for the suggestions. with a m1 and tb what kinda 1/4 times could i expect from an alrady 15.1@89mph?
