Subject: Cold air intakes IP: Logged
Message: I have a 2000 dakota with a 4.7 v-8. I just purchased an Air Force One cold air intake for it. I have been warned by a toyota owner that he put one on his Tundra, and it didn't do anything. Can anyone give me some positive feedback about these for my truck?

Message: DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY, BUILD ONE YOURSELF AND REAP ALL THE BENNIES AT ABOUT 1/3 the cost. I checked out the AIRAID at a parts store before I descided to make my own. Folks tell me that mine is nicer looking and the performance standpoint is truely evident, Sound and pep!!

Message: What's wrong with the stock intake? Brings cool ambient air in from the fender well, has large diameter ducting, and accomodates a good filter that can filter well and flow well. Can't really see the benefits of changing something that already works very well. Maybe use the money to buy some replacement ball-joints instead .. or maybe some brake rotors. :oP
