I read in a mopar magazine that chrysler is possibly coming out in 2005 or 04' a 5.7 hemi srt-8 dakota....lets see how the lightning will hold up to this kinda magnitude? If this isnt true someone tell me. I want to know when this comes out...cause im saving all of my pennies for this truck

no one can tell you if its true or not, cuz no one really knows. how will this truck hold up to the lightning? it wpnt hold a torch to the lightning, genIII's are being built to compete with the srt10 ram (or trying to compete) w/500 horses on tap.

The SRT-8 is the hemi powered Dodge station wagon...NOT the new name for the R/T Dakota.

Yes i have heard of the power wagon and it is just a concept car, that will probably not be made...thus the name srt-8 might still be used as another name for the new truck...or they might just use r/t again who knows...they used the charger name for the new model concept charger....two completely different cars...and the new concept has a v-6 i think and has more power than or almost as much as the 440 charger.
