Message: Well I have a 2000 4.7 and on Monday I am upgrading to a 2002 4.7. Both white 4x4 CC w/ 5spd 3.92. Anyway since it seems most of these exhausts lose power, why buy one? I would love to spend money on an exhaust but which to buy. IF SOMEONE HAS PROOF OF A POWER GAIN W/ A CATBACK EXHAUST PLEASE TELL ME. ANY POWER GAIN TOP OR LOW END, LOW PREFERABLY. THANK YOU.

Message: don't worry about exhaust, just install some quality engineered autolite spark plugs and get the same results!

Message: Why don't you spend your money on the HO cams intead ? That's what I did, no regrets. Seems to boil down to whether you want to be quicker or just sound like you might be quicker.

Message: A good homebrew or store-bought low restriction air intake combined with free-flowing cat-back exhaust is worth the effort, even a small mpg payback. The factory exhaust manifolds are within 2% of headers, the factory Champion plugs work great for first 30K miles.
