I like my R/T but those parts are too damn expensive. m1 400, headers 400, throttle body 250, roller cockers 400. $1500 for a lowsy .5-1 sec off 1/4 mile times. i think dodge should of gave the r/t a special 5.9 rathar that the "towing 5.9". one guy told me cause of emmisions. well gm has the ls-1 for the 98-up F-bodys and gm just underated them. dodge should of just did the same. the gm LS-1's are damn fast, STOCK! i think i made a mistake of gettin my r/t, eats gas and has no power. stock ls-1 cars run 13.5-13.9 1/4. oh yeah the 4.7 doent have no balls either.

Dude,
No offense, but you bought a TRUCK, not a sports car. Getting a truck to perform like a sports car is going to be a labor of love -- it ain't going to be cheap or easy.

Well, you are close, but not all ls1's will run in the 13's stock, an ss or ws6 will with a pretty good driver.
