pistons and rings

What do you want to bore it to? The majority of horsepower gained from a cylinder bore is lost duo to increased flexibility in the cylinder walls. Don't bore it out any more than you have to.

.30 over is max boring for a 318. Before the walls are substantially weakened. If you do it though, go for a little higher compression piston. While your there have the crank and rods cleaned up and replace the bearings.

Z-Tube, R/T Rims, SSB Rear Disc Conversion, Alpine Head-Unit, Infinity Kappa Speakers, SilverStar Headlights, HO Cams & Intake installed.

Got H.O. ?

The only way to tell what you can do is to pull it all the way apart and have it checked for maximum bore size with a straight bore. I am in the process of this right now. Only bad thing is,when you bore and go with new pistons, they have to be custom, because nobody makes em. $599 for Ross is the best i found. depending on your block and the wear it has incurred, you can bore these out pretty good. I have the 318/340 crank 4", i beam eagle rods ( stock length ) and my bore is at .030. I expect to see some pretty good power out of this thing when I'm done.
