i cleaned my throttle body a month ago and now when i rev my 2000 5.9 in neutral it acts like it is hitting the rev limiter at 4000-4300rpm. why?

Be glad it is as high reving in neutral is a good way to have your motor go sour...

No load on the internals when you are in neutral

It is supposed to do that, keeps it from blowing up. Nothing to worry about, they all do it.

yea at WOT in gear it shifts right in all gears. it's just in neutral. ok i'll stop worrying now.
