Message: It's all in the first 60'.
You need almost a 2.00 or better 60' time to get a 14 with those mods.

Message: What track are you at? Whats the elevation?(sea level) Are you spinning the tires hard? 60 foot time? Whats your mph?
Reaction time has nothing to do with et.
Try it without that hypertech, Ive herd they dont work that well.
My 02 R/T ran a best of 15.45 @88 mph with a 2.11 60 foot time. The only thing done to mine is the crank sensor mod, plugs, and pulling of the snorkel in the air filter box.
When it was stock it only ran 16.00 @84mph.
I also step on the brake pedal in 3rd gear to shut off the lock up converter.

Message: I am gonna have to go with everyone else with improving your 60 foot time. You should be able to get a better time then that.
I have a 03 4.7L rc 4x4 with the 3.55 and a one wheeler, and a stick, and my 60 foot time was a 2.488 and the 1/4 was 16.32@84.6mph
So i would think about doing something different in the launch

Message: you need tires. 2.6 60 foot says you were spinning the tires hard. Put a drag radial on it or get a 15 inch rim and go with a slick. If you got your 60 foot down to a 1.9, that would put you at a 14.8.
Im at the point with my truck that anything I do to it now will efect my 60 foot. I have to get a better tire on it before I do anything else.

Message: It's not just tires, I see this same symptom on other forums as well. You can't just stomp it off the line and expect to be happy at the end of the track. Frmo a stop my truck will spin most or all of first gear (4.7 w/intake/exhaust), but at the track or launching on the street, you don't see me dare spin that much, not if I want to win or get a good time.
You've got to play with the throttle off the line. Practice stalling it up a little and then launching at half throttle and rolling into the gas about a second later once you're rolling.
My best 60' on my regular street tires is 2.29, not the best in the world, but this is on the stock 29" tall Goodyear Wrangler LS that come on the (255/65/16) so if I can do it on these, the RSA's (which I assume are on his truck if he's got 10,000 miles) are more than enough to get into the sub-2.3 range, and that alone should get him the low 15's if not better.

Message: I think the 2000 has a better computer than the 01 and 02. I ran mine tonight and went 15.3. The last pass was 1 tenth quicker to the 1/8th and 1000 foot mark but somthing blew through the beams before I did and the time came up 10.97 @ 267 mph. I figure that would have been a 15.2.

Message: Actually I see a couple things that may help your dilema.
#1. You may need to close the gap on those plugs. I went 14.25 on a worn-out 5.2 with a stock throttle body, M-1, 1.7s, gears (4.86s to be exact), and a Mopar 2200 stall. I also used the 3923s at a .40 gap. The larger gap may be affecting your computer which would result in slower times.
#2. You have the ingredients, but you forgot about a good stall converter. That should compliment the throttle body, headers, and exhaust to help you achieve your goal. However, if you change the coverter, you will need some good track tires. Either street/strip treaded tires, or a true slick.
Look at these things next...and I'll (almost) guarantee some faster ETs.

Message: The rule of thumb is every .10 you drop off your 60' time is double at the end of the 1/4 mile.
If you get your 60' time down to 2.00 you are now a mid 14's truck.
Try a low 1,000 rpm launch, do not torque it up at the line above the 1,000 rpms.
If you are running the stock RSA's lower your pressure to about 26 lbs.
Also when doing your warmup drive around the water box and do a Slight burnout just enough for a light haze anymore and you will get the tires more slick then they already are.
These tips should help you improve.
Good luck
