 Subject: ABS Brakes ?

Could anyone give me some information on the type of ABS that I have on my 2002 QC V8 auto. From the master cylinder the pipe for the front brakes goe through a device that has a large multipin plug going to it. That device is mounted on the drivers fender beside the master cylinder. When the ABS comes on the front brakes will unlock for about one second and then come on again. There are no speed sensors on any of the wheels. I have drum brakes on the rear.
