just bought a 2000 4wd 4.7. The front end has an awful knock when you hit a bump/or hard breaking. Any suggestions would be appreciated....

I have an 02 QC and had the problem with a knock when I turned braked or accelerated. I took it to the dealer and he said the steering intermediate shaft was worn out. (yea right) Well they replaced it and sure enough no knocks.
