Subject: Drum Brakes IP: Logged
Message: I have a 98 4x4 dakota with discs in the front and drums in the back. I was going to replace my front with powerslot rotors and hawk pads. I got to thinking about the rear though. Who carries the best replacement parts for the drum brakes in the back?

Message: I have replaced the front with slotted disc's and no noticable difference in stopping. That is I used stock size replacement rotors. If I could do it over again I would see if I could buy larger rotors and spend the extra $$ for new calipers. I have researched for replacement rear drums and discovered a conversion rotor set. Have yet to hear the outcome of there performance so I will wait to buy them.
