Subject: Cupholder IP: Logged
Message: I have a 98 Dakota 4x4 club cab automatic V6. I have the split bench with the flip down console and according to the owners manual there is supposed to be a cupholder there. I can not find a place to put one. It seems kind of stupid my backseat passengers have a cupholder but yet me and my gf normally do not. Is there one that goes there or somewhere else for my year Dakota. I would appreciate any help. Thank you.

Message: look on the lower part of your seat, right above the driveshaft tunnel. There will be a black (well mine is black anyway) piece of plastic. Grab the bottom of it and slide it out. I just bought my '99 dakota and did not realize I had cup holders until I got it home. So your not the only one!

Message: And when you grab hold of it and pull it out, do it carefully, because it is a piece of crap that eventually will come off in your hand. You can always put it back together with JB Weld like I did until you get another.
