Message: HEY, i just got a 96 ext. cab with a 318 and i cant do any engine swaps, but i would love every bit of help that you can give me. I have a friend with a 03 mustang GT, he has to keep in mostly stock to avoid voiding his warrenty but i have to beat him. I have about 3-5K to spend on my dak and really need advise, thanks every one.

Message: i have the same year and everything. first a pcm. then headers and exhaust + high flow cat." flowmaster i perfer" your in a total of about 900.00 you can make your own cold air intake by removing a plastic flap that the tube from the air filter box runs to" need to remove grill to do this, it takes about 15 min" just with these i can take a 4.6 gt. then you can get roller rockers and a mild cam. together these are about 1000.00 installed. with these you should have no prob kickin his ars. let me know how everything goes.

On the cam page, check out the KRC 206. That would probably work well for what you are looking for in terms of a cam. Make sure you do good plugs/wires/cap/rotor first off. I'd also recommend a 180' thermostat, especially when you add more advance with a Mopar pcm.
