i just put a chrome airaid elbow intake on my 5.2 a minute ago, took it around the block it dosent seem to much of a differance.

My question is do i have to what for things to compensate for the increase air flow (i.e. cat sensor, fuel injection) or is this all i should expect???

you have to do your exhaust also. Free it up with a dynaflow.

i had a mechanic put on some mandrel bent daul cat back exaust on it is either 2.5" or 3" i cant remember, not that i am not happy with the results but it still seems a little restricted.
i have a holley stock trottle body on the v8 i might want to change out down the road, i just wonder if i have to wait a couple of days to let things ajust for me to see a differance on the new intake.
