((1999 Dak v8 5.2 2WD) Which muffler should I put on my truck .Looking for a sweet rumble sound and HP increase if possible . (No catbacks Sorry I can't afford it ) Just a muffler and the little extension pipe to the end. Thanks for any help &/or advice BTW I was told the pipe from the cat is 2.5inches

Just blew my muffler out on my way to Ottawa over
the weekend and Had to have it replaced. So I
have oppinions on two different ones.
The truck had a flowmaster on it when I bought it,
It sounded nice, pretty loud I actually took my
radio out cause I always turned it off to listen
to that rumble. since I didn't install it I don't
know if it was a 3 or 2 chamber but I'm thinking
it was a 3.
All they had for a HP replacement at the shop I
went to in Ottawa was the Dynomax version. The
Dynomax is alot quieter all the niose is really
low like near or below bass. The truck seems a
lot quieter. the Exhaust system is still 2.5"

Try out a Spintech muffler!! Awsome sound, and not the typical Flowmaster sound you hear from every Ford and Chevy truck on the road. Beter flow than the Flowmasters as well.
