Amsoil Dealers / Retail Stores / Preferred Customer Discount

Amsoil is available thruough Independent Dealers such as myself, and Retail locations which also act as Amsoil independent Dealers. Orders can be placed either from the catalog (toll-free #) or from the online store when you visit my website(secure credit card orders can be placed direct from my website). If you would like a FREE catalog you can request one at my website - simply click on the link at the bottom of this post.

Amsoil Corporate Structure

Amsoil introduced the first synthetic motor oil with an API (American Petroleum Institute) Service Classification in 1972 (over 30 years). Since that time, Amsoil has varied and expanded its product line.

Amsoil is available in some stores -- mostly high performance speciality shops -- that lean more towards quality (for building performance and race engines, or an owner that appreciates superior products) than to a "price point" retail store (i.e. Walmart, etc.). I do know quite a few NAPA Stores that carry Amsoil (my cousin happens to own one).

In the beginning, Amsoil, being a small speciality oil manufacturer, could never compete with the big guys for shelf space. Shelf space at the big stores is not free --- you have to pay for every inch of shelf frontage that you use. (I used to work in Management for an Import Company so I know this to be fact).

So, Amsoil started as a Multi-Level Marketing company, also know as MLM, and once they decided upon this concept they could not change or 1000's of Independent Dealers would loose their business.

If you see Amsoil on the shelf, the retail store works in the same capacity as an Independent Dealer. His discount is far less than what other products offer --- so a lot of retail stores would rather carry higher mark-up oils, filters, etc.
--------------------------------------------------

Amsoil customers have the option of buying retail, or becoming a "preferred customer" ($10 for a 6-month trial, or $20 per year) and purchase Amsoil products at up to 25% off the retail price. This will offset the shipping costs. If you and your family purchase $100 or more each year this will save you money. With the membership you will also receive an annual subscription to our monthly magazine, the Amsoil Action News (racing news, news articles and Amsoil product updates).

Thank you and I would appreciate the opportunity to become your dealer of choice.

For anyone interested in becoming an Amsoil Preferred Customer (savings up to 25% off retail prices)... but questions whether they will save more than the $20 annual fee ...

NOTE: Amsoil is more than Synthetic Lubrication, Motor Oils and Amsoil Air and Oil Filters. We also carry Hastings Filters, BOSCH Plugs, Wire Sets, and Wiper Blades.

Amsoil also has the Altrum Division which includes AGGRAND Organic Fertilizer, Altrum Vitamins and Nutritional Supplements, Water Filtration, and Detergents ... all of which you can order at a discount with the SAME "Preferred Customer" status.

I hate Mobil 1 and like Amsoil or dino

I have never been impressed with Mobil 1, for reasons of increased engine noise, increased consumption, oil seeming to get dark to quickly for my likeing and a seemingly decreased smoothness in engine operation when compared to Amsoil or regular old dino. anybody else feel the same?
