Ive got a 2001 dakota V8 4.7 liter 4*4. Ive got goodyear wrangler rts 265 70r 16 tires on there. Whats the biggest size tire that i could put on my truck without having to do any lift kits. I want some BFG AT KO tires. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I think if you know of a good tire shop you might try to ask them. I asked my tire shop and he even tried a few on to see if the clearance was okay. All trucks unless stock, ride at all different heights. I got the biggest tire that would fit safely on my rims and also not hit anyhting when turning sharp. If your willing to buy new rims then its a better option for you to maybe get a bigger tire...

31 inch is the biggest tire you can put on without a lift kit.
I have the same truck as yours, I just bought some 265-70-16 BFG AT/KO and I Love'em.
I wanted 265-75-16,but it would require a 2 inch body lift.
