ok i finally found a muffler shop that will cut my pre cats off. problem is they want $180 to do it. that is cutting off my current cats and making a y pipe and putting it in the old ones place without the pre cats. they told me it would be better to get an already made y pipe and let them weld it on for $125. What should i do? is there any places that sells premade 01 dakota 5.9 y-pipes? also since it will throw a code will i lose performance until i put the o2 simms on, b/c i dont plan on getting the simms until close to inspection.
