i have a 97 5.2L 5spd 2wd dakota sport. i dont know what tranny i have, but will a hurst shifter off a NV3500 (2000 dakota v8) fit to my dakota? same tranny? thanks

greg it should, hursts web site has a section that has drawings of what the tranny looks like
i think it also gives info if theres a casting# also it also gives the range of years itll fit
i know they make shifters for 2 different dak trannys i fumbled around the site and was able to find out what i needed if i can do it anyone can
