Message: Well the light squeak at the rear of the motore you might wanna also think about the clutch/torque converter. But if your oil pressure dropped that drastically so suddenly then you'll want to re-built that motor anyway just to be safe. Ya there are alot of seals which are easy to replace that could goes causing a loss of so much oil, but it's not worth taking the chance. If you can go without the truck for a few days do and engine pull and spend a few houndred on a rebuild kit.
In the end it'll make your engine more reliable, more fuel effiecent, and have more power. Plus you don't have to worry about that squeak turning into a 'BOOM' as a connecting rod blows and you toss a piston into your heads.

Message: well the oil presure went back up yesterday. and was good this morning and now its back down. what i did find out was that the valve cover breather was cloged so i think i have vaccum locked that motor up and i think it just may be the oil pressure sending unit
