Hey slow2dak,
Do you have that adjustable LPS perfected?
If so do you mind sharing with the rest of us how you did it and what are the results?

Thanks...

whats up FLDAK. my LPS(line pressure sensor) is adjustable but its not to perfection yet. it werks but i dont have the right potentiometer wired into the circuit yet. the one i have hooked up right now is a 4k-9k ohm unit. i tried this one because it is the same as my adjustable ECT sensor and the resistance is close for both sensors, or so i thought. the LPS resistance goes to a higher number than what i thought it would so i cant adjust the line pressure higher than 175psi. the max line pressure the TCM can read is 250 psi so ive gotta get a potentiometer with a larger range of resistance to wire in. the results are tricky in some cases. i can crank the line pressure up to 175psi and it will start to shift harder, but then the TCM will recognize the setting and then back off of the firmness of the shift. sucks that it is adaptive to driving habits. i have found no way around it. i have a 3 post potentiometer from radio shack. on post is hooked to ground, one hooked to the signal wire for tha LPS and the other to the LPS ground wire. signal wire is T39 18 GY/LB. ground is Z113 16 BK. 5VLT supply is T38 18 VT/TN. its not hard to do. the only other thing is if you set the resistance to low, it will set a code in the TCM for Line pressure high, line pressure sensor fault. it will not set off the check engine light so thats a plus. when i get a different Potentiometer wired in ill take it back to the track and give some results.

slow2dak,
Thanks for the update, it will be interesting to see what it'll do at the track. Yeah that adaptive learning may be a problem.
Please keep us posted on future results!
