Message: If you have not already tried these I suggest the following;
1. New Distributor Cap, Rotor, etc:
2. New Plug Wires
3. Autolite 3923 Plugs
4. Clean Throttlebody with Carb Cleaner
5. Add Injector Cleaner To Tank Before Next Fill-Up (Lucas Oil makes a Good One)
6. Clean & ReOil K&N Air Filter
*note:cold air intake will increase fuel consumption not lower it. Anytime you put more air or more dense air into engine fuel mixture will be increased.
7. Lift your right foot! Watch sudden accelerations and don't redline tach before shifting.
Seriously this is about all the advice I can supply. Dodges are notorious for gas mileage but 9mpg does seem a bit low. You might have your timing checked especially if it is a little hard to start or idles rough. Good Luck and Have a Good Holiday.

Message: in addition to the above post, you might want to check your tire size. If u have 235Rwhatever and the truck calls for 215Rwahtever you need to recalibrate the speedo. This can be done with a new speedometer sensor drive gear in the tranny tail. If the calibration is not correct and the truck feels like it's running right you won't get an accurate read on fuel economy. Before I changed mine I was off 7%. Or I would drive 100 miles but the speedo registered 93. You will need to give the dealer the VIN to get it right.
