Let me refer back to my original post... It doesn't matter how many liters it is, so long as its a V8! You have a V8? You got my respect even if I do beat you at the light.
If you have a V10 your definately a man that appreciates power.
If you have a V12 your compensating for something.

yah but look at the displacemant at alot of the v12 engines. not and more displacement that a big block v8, the litres usually mesure right around (6.somthing). so those guys are being fooled into beliveing there bigger and really aint!

This is hilarious. Did anyone pay attention in school? Do the words "proof read" mean anything? My '02 QC 4x4 4.7 AT gets worse mileage than my '79 Dodge Power Wagon 318 that had full-time 4WD. And, it did not have the advantage of fuel injection, computerized ignition control or an overdrive automatic. This is progress? Anyway - soon the 4.7 will be making 1 hp per cubic inch stock - or close to it, something Dodge would not have been able to do with a stock 318 today and does not do with the current 5.9. But, I am not knocking the 5.2 or 5.9. Great motors, but their day is over.

your right the production days off the factory line is over but as far as aftermaket parts go there will still be a huge maket because there is still 30 plus years of those blocks running around
