Hello. I have a 1991 dak 5.2 xcab. it has an A500 auto tranny. been a great truck! Last 3 days, i noticed a split second loss of pwr. Then, I noticed it was happening between gears 2 & 3; and now it's happening if i'm going uphill, or try to pass someone. Wierd thing is, it is not doing this first thing in the am, when the engine is cold... Trans fluid is fine. I REALLY NEED HELP ON THIS.

Thanks! Bryan from VA

your tranny fluid is NOT fine-- your tranny is slipping and getting worse-- change the fluid and adjust ths bands -- if you have a tranny cooler[ and you should have a big one ] make suretat the thermo valve has been removed from the cooler lines so that the fluid will flow all the time and not just when it is hot--
